REPRESENTING Grove Hall
AGE 34
THEME SONG "It's All About the Pentiums"
IN HIS WORDS "As an economic development director for Massachusetts, I've delivered more than 2000 jobs to the state and will work to do the same for Boston."
IN OUR WORDS Tito Jackson's "better schools, more jobs, cleaner neighborhoods" platform rings a bit generic (as do those of the majority of the candidates), but the industry director for information technology for Governor Deval Patrick's Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (he's currently on leave) could be what our analogue-esque City Hall needs. Jackson doesn't just know technology — he knows the tech landscape, and Boston needs more of those jobs he's been reeling in for the state.
