• Good friend Scott Duhamel reminds us that a local guy, Matt Turner, has a film, Jukebox Van¬ishing America, entered in the IFC cable channel’s “IFC Uncut TV Media Lab” show. You can support the home team by voting at: medialab.ifc.com/film_detail.jsp?film_id=1056&list=1. As Scott sez: “C’mon boys and gurls, get on the bus and vote for out little documentary made by the talented young Matt Turner, filmed at the one and only Nick-a-Nee’s, and featuring, among others, my big mouth and near-perfect RhodeIslandese.” Just do it.
