There have been a slew of foodie events lately, and here’s another great one: the Chefs Collaborative 4th Annual Rhode Island BBQ. A baker’s dozen of the state’s top “farm-to-fork” chefs will assemble to boost the profile of local and sustainable ingredients. The drool-inducing fare, paired with libations from local vineyards and breweries, will be served at Schartner Farms in Exeter from 4-7 pm | $65, $25 ages 8-18, free under 8 |

An "autumn harvest with Rhode Island's best farm-to-fork chefs," including Derek Wagner of Nick’s On Broadway, Jake Rojas of Tallulah on Thames, Beau Vestal of New Rivers, Matt Gennuso of Chez Pascal, Matt Varga of Gracie’s, Mike McHugh of the Barstow, David Reynoso of Al Forno, Champe Speidel of Persimmon, Chad Hoffer and Tyler Burnley of Thames Street Kitchen, Matt and Kate of North, Ben Sukle of Birch, Paul Pearson of Seasons at the Ocean House, Chad Hart of One Bellevue at the Hotel Viking, and Eli Dunn of the Beehive Cafe, plus beer and wine and music by the Honky-Tonk Knights | 4-7 pm
