"Ten Most Endangered Properties Photography Exhibit,"
Sometimes the town is falling down around you, and sometimes the good stuff gets lost in the shuffle. We shouldn’t let classic architecture crumble — that’s folly, for sure. The “Ten Most Endangered Properties Photography Exhibit” at the Brick School House, 24 Meeting St, Providence, makes a visual case for a handful of addresses that warrant some immediate TLC — places “that are endangered by threats including deterioration, insufficient funds, insensitive public policy, and inappropriate development-problems.” The Providence Preservation Society curates the annual list; Jan Armor, Jesse Burke, John Caserta, Michael Cevoli, Stephanie Ewens, Erik Gould, Heidi Gumula, Deborah Hickey, Tim Hiebert, Frank Mullin, and Traer Scott put their artistic spin on this altruistic assignment. The show is up through the 29th (Monday 12-4 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 12-2:30 pm) | 401.831.7440 | ppsri.org
