Pop Goes the Culture
Epic Theatre Company is unleashing a new installment of Pop Goes the Culture, one-night-only events celebrating the highs and lows American diversions. Tonight Bob Colonna will face “The Actor’s Challenge,” performing 10 short pieces (e.g., something from a movie; from a role you’d never be given; that scares you) and then parsing the results with the audience. On the 25th, the crowd is the star, sharing cringing curiosities in “Look What I Found On Facebook!” And on Halloween, get interactive at a screening of Troll 2, yet another masterpiece often called the “worst movie ever made.” The gatherings are at the Zabinski Studio in the Hope Artiste Village, 999 Main St, Pawtucket, at 7 pm | Free for the Actor’s Challenge, $10 for the other events | 401.368.7689
