There will be splendidly creative works at the 5th Annual Fall Out of Summer Art Festival at the Artists’ Exchange, 50 Rolfe Sq, Cranston. From jewelry to photography to textiles, the gathering brings an array of perspectives to the table. And some of the sidecar stunts are wonderfully attractive. There’s a Human Art Contest (dress in flamboyant outfits), street art contests (bring your chalk and use the sidewalk as your canvas), a Street Art Contest (sidewalk as canvas), and a Doggie Show-off Contest (bring your charismatic pooch). There’s plenty of music (17 acts running the melodic gamut), and plenty of family fun (pony rides, pumpkin painting, an ice cream sundae station). The fest runs from 11 am to 5 pm | $1 (free under 12) | 401.490.9475 | artists-exchange.org
