The 14th Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival bursts with culture and creativity, offering a bountiful supply of music, crafts, and family events. The Festival Gala ($10, free under 12) kicks off at Slater Mill at 6 pm with the Taste of Pawtucket, a deep sampling of local fare, accompanied by the hard-hitting swamp grooves of the Slippery Sneakers Zydeco Band (6 pm) and, from 8:30 to 11 pm, the Louisiana Zydeco Band and J.J.
