"In Habitat," works by Brian Chippendale and Jungil Hong
“In Habitat,” a collection of works by Brian Chippendale and Jungil Hong at Buona-ccorsi + Agniel, was one of the best shows of 2011. As Greg Cook noted: “Their vivid exhibit shows how their styles have evolved — his increasable abstract, hers more minimal — as they’ve entered their late 30s. Chippendale continues to make eye-poppingly manic collages out of his own cut-up drawings and screenprints . . . Hong’s new gouache paintings and screenprints depict hard-edged geometric spaces of mysterious stairways, trapdoors, and checkerboard floors.” The exhibit has traveled to the Jamestown Arts Center, 18 Valley Street; and can be viewed Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm through March 17 | 401.560.0979 | jamestownartcenter.org
