When the Body (guitarist Chip King and drummer Lee Buford) lock in and unleash their unholy, sludgy, hypnotic racket, the sheer force of sound overtakes your body. Braveyoung, self-described as “a punk band, kind of” (if punk is defined as “kinda pulse-y and drone-y”), collaborated with the Body on the Nothing Passes LP; a mini-tour which has them joining forces onstage will wrap up tonight at AS220, 115 Empire Street, Providence. Also: the one-man aural assault Work/Death (who needs to tour with Birth/School), the dissonant decadence of Humanbeast, and the gloriously primitive Sandworm. It all begins at 9 pm | $6 | 401.831.9327 | as220.org
