The title character in Mary Poppins is described as being “practically perfect in every way,” and the acclaim lavished on the traveling production of the musical indicates that audiences will likely say the same about the show. Or simply note that it’s “Supercali-fragilisticexpialidocious.” The Disney show debuted in London in 2004, hit Broadway in 2006, and has been criss-crossing the States since ’09. Rachel Wallace will channel Julie Andrews as the magical umbrella-toting Mary, and Case Dillard will get his “Chim Chim Cher-ee” on as Bert. You’ll have 16 chances to see them at the Providence Performing Arts Center, 220 Weybosset Street, through the 19th | $38-$75 | 401.421.ARTS | ppacri.org
