Uton
Summary: Uton started as a experimental-noise project by finnish artist Jani Hirvonen at summer 2001 in Tampere. First album ", Taivaan Joka Kolossa", was released later same year. After 2001 Uton's been releasing many many albums, mostly small edition CDR's and tapes, but also few CD's (Mystery Revolution and We're Only In It For The Spirit - for Digitalis Industries) and LP's (Alitaju Yliminä + Straight Edge XXS - for Dekorder). Uton's music is a mix of many genres, including elements from drone, avant-noise, free-improv folk/ jazz/ rock, psychedelia, drone, ambient, tape-music, musique concréte etc.
