
Red Meat
Summary: Started in San Francisco's Mission District in 1993, Red Meat released their debut CD in 1997 ", Meet Red Meat", and have since become a much beloved honky tonk revival group known nationally as well as abroad. Their music has been featured on several more self released albums, and the song ", Broken Up and Blue", from their 2nd labum ", 13", became their contribution to the soundtrack of the 2001 film Monster's Ball which was played at the Oscars when Halle Berry accepted her Academy Award.
