Basically I've been writing songs since I was a little kid. First picked up a guitar at 15 and started my first band, Cyanide. We mostly played high school functions, and had a few gigs at the Livingroom in Providence RI. When we parted ways I met Jay Carpentier through an ad I had posted, and joined his band, Nocturnal Sun. From there, I helped found the band GrandEvlolution with fellow Noc-Sun-ers Sarah and Scott. We toured pretty extensively throughout New England, released a couple LP's and opened up for Soul Asylum in 2006. Around that time I was getting antsy, and started writing a slew of new songs, and needed to shift my attention to that. I recorded my own LP in 2007 with Sarah, Scott, Pete, and a bunch of others, and released the CD in May of 2008. I got some great reviews in the Providence Phoenix and Motif, and we're still playing a ton of shows around the area. Things were getting pretty stale in GrandEv, so I left and became full-time in my own music. Jay Carpentier came back to play bass, as well as Kevin Ferschke on Drums, and Pete Gendron on guitar and keys. I'm happy with this line-up, and we continue to have some great shows and play some great music. It's all about having fun. When you lose the fun, it becomes work. And who wants that?
