Johnny Carlevale is a rhythm & blues singer/song-writer hailing from the north eastern part of the United States and calls home West Greenwich, Rhode Island! In 2005, Carlevale released his first record, "New England's Own Jump, Swing, Rhythm & Blues", followed by "That Ain't No Way To Spend A Friday Night" in 2006, and in 2007 he and good friend and lead guitarist of his band Greg Burgess were the main contributers to the Rocky Point Park film soundtrack, "You Must Be This Tall"! Carlevale has been featured on world reknown music festivals Viva Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Red Hot & Blue Weekender in Saint Haycinthe, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and The High Rockabilly in Calafell, Spain. "Johnny Carlevale's natural blues vocals is a pleasure to hear" - Howard at Raucous Records "Carlevale’s vocals are always true and never sound fake like many who try to sing the blues but are only caricature of what they think a bluesman is…This guy is the real deal" - Fred Turgis from Jumping From 6 To 6 Carlevale does not do it alone. He employs top notch backing musicians who he likes to call His Band Of All-Stars The band includes lead guitarist Greg Burgess,upright bassist Jack Hanlon, and drummer Jeremy Kroger! Carlevale,Burgess,Hanlon, and Kroger make up the core band and from time to time you can catch Carlevale with tenor sax players Dick "The Poet" Lourie and Rodney Caron!
