Jake the Snake
Summary: West Indies born hip hop artist J the S, has quickly become the mc to watch on the Boston music scene. His music is heavily influenced by the sounds of his adolecent life in Nevis as well as the urban narrative that became his day to day upon moving to the east coast. Inspired by early 90's hip hop when sincerity dominated the marketplace, he carries on the tradition of interpreting the world with keen and insightful lyrical content, in the same style as Tupac and Nas. Jarrod Annis WERS 88.
