Harvey Milk
Summary: Athens, Georgia's Harvey Milk are a heavy rock band consisting of Creston Spiers, Steven Tanner, Paul Trudeau, and Kyle Spence. They formed in the early 1990s and are named after the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California ( wiki ). Their first two albums 'My Love is Higher Than Your Assessment of What My Love Could Be' and 'Courtesy and Goodwill Toward Men' mix massive sludgy riffs with classical music, Kiss and everything in between. Most songs feature Spiers' striking &, often heartwrenching vocals. They take cues from artists like the Melvins and Leonard Cohen.
