Four years straight on top for Reason, Storm Davis, and Dox, aka Poorly Drawn People, once again taking top honors among Lil Rhody's highly-active rap community. PDP have garnered plenty of positive press and peer respect, having opened for indie icons like Brother Ali, Ill Bill, and El-P, among plenty others. Lyricists Reason and Storm Davis and producer Dox remain the core, but the local franchise just launched PDP Recordings, an all-encompassing home base for all PDP-associated members, including 21-year-old Provy phenom producer Falside, and reaching out to endorse Baltimore-based duo Educated Consumers. Reason's acclaimed Landlords & Lullabies is one of the best in the PDP catalog (along with Storm's 2006 debut Kegstand Poetry for the Recovering Alcoholic), and lives up to Poorly Drawn's '09 heater Motion Not Emotion (look up "No Interruptions").
