This film festival brings the short works of filmmakers from around the world to Portland on Sep 24 at 7 pm, Brunswick and Ellsworth on Sep 26 at 7 pm, and Waterville that same day at 1 pm. Audience members vote for the film they feel is the best. This year, the festival includes the top 10 finalists chosen from 428 entries from 36 countries. The program runs about two and a half hours, with no film longer than 18 minutes. Tickets are $6 to $10, depending on the location.
